    Tractor-trailer rolls over I-80 in Monroe County

    STROUD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Tuesday that a tractor-trailer rolled over on Interstate 80.

    Accoridng to PennDot the crash occurred in Stroud Township, on I-80E, just before exit 303. Traffic slowed for at lease a few minutes but began moving again around 4:45 p.m., said PennDOT officials.

    PennDOT says, Pennsylvania State Pollice (PSP) were on the scene and said a car cut off the tractor trailer and the driver quickly swered to avoid hitting the vehicle, overcompensating, the tractor trailer tipped over and crash through a guard rail destroying it.

    Officials say the driver of the tractor-trailer surved the crash with no injury and it was carring a small about of tires. There is still no word on the car that caused the crash, officials say.
