UPDATE: According to State Police, Cedar has been found safe.

SCOTT COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A 10-month-old was abducted out of Scott County on Monday and is believed to be in “extreme danger,” according to Virginia State Police.

In a May 7 Amber Alert, state police said 10-month-old Cedar Samuel Griffith was last seen on Daniel Boone Road at about 8:18 p.m. on Monday, May 6.

Cedar is described as a Black male with black hair and brown eyes, measuring about 30 inches and weighing about 20 pounds. According to state police, he was last seen wearing only a diaper.

Cedar is believed to have been abducted by 30-year-old Ashley Jordan Griffith. According to state police, she is a white woman with blond hair and hazel eyes. She is thought to be about 5-foot-6-inches tall and weigh about 115 pounds.

Cedar, Ashley and a stock photo of the car they could be traveling in — a blue 2005 Lexus RX300 — are shown below. The Lexus reportedly has an unknown Tennessee temporary tag on it.

If you see Ashley Griffith or Cedar, you are asked to call 911 immediately.
