    Crawford County Jail without power

    CRAWFORD COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — More than 5,000 residents were reported to be without power in Crawford County including the jail.

    A confirmed tornado hit Mountianburg and severe thunderstorms brought down powerlines and trees. The jail is running on generators at this time.

    The Crawford County Department of Emergency Services is asking residents to contact them about storm damage. Comments can be made on the Facebook post or residents can call 479-471-3260.
