Powerball jackpot hit, $100K ticket sold in Pennsylvania

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — A $100,000 Powerball ticket was sold in Pennsylvania for Monday night’s drawing while the $214 million jackpot was hit in Florida

The $100,000 matched four of the five numbers and the Powerball with Power Play. If Power Play weren’t active (x2) the ticket would have been worth $50,000.

In addition, another ticket matching four of the five numbers and the Powerball, without Power Play, was sold in PA worth $50,000.

According to the PA Lottery, more than 21,000 other winning Powerball tickets worth between $4 and $500 were sold in Pennsylvania.

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing is reset to an estimated $20 million, and Tuesday night’s Mega Millions jackpot is estimated at $120 million.
