Kropf was struck by a dirt bike that was weaving in and out of traffic just after midnight on April 27 on Hudson Avenue. Police are still searching for the suspect on the dirt bike.

In light of the accident, the Albany County Sheriff’s Office ran an illegal motorbike detail in Albany County on May 3. As a result, 10 illegal bikes were taken off city streets.
