    ALERT: Flash Flood Warning in effect for Allegheny, Beaver, Washington counties after severe storms

    A confirmed tornado has touched down in Fairhaven, West Virginia where several homes have been damaged.

    Hancock County 911 officials said that there are no reports of injuries and that they are in the area to see how many homes are affected. There is no power in the area.

    A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for parts of Allegheny, Beaver and Washington counties until 4:45 a.m. after a cell that produced a tornado moved across the region.

    The National Weather Service reports a confirmed tornado touched down in northern Hancock County, West Virginia, and moved toward western Beaver County near Harshaville, Hanover Township.

    In an update at 1:50 am., the National Weather Service said rotation in the storm over Allegheny County is weakening. The storm could still produce tornadoes, damaging winds and flash flooding.
