    South Baldwin Community Theatre presenting ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’ this month

    BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. ( WKRG ) — An “immortal American theatre classic” is coming to Baldwin County as the South Baldwin Community Theatre holds its 52nd season, according to a release.

    “A Streetcar Named Desire” is coming to the stage for two weekends this month according to a press release: May 10 through May 12 and May 17 through May 19. Performances will be held on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2:30 p.m.

    LOCATION:

    The “immortal American theatre classic”, as referred to in the release, tells the story of Blanch DuBois , a high school English teacher from Mississippi, who decides to move in with her sister and brother-in-law in New Orleans after creditors take over the family property.

    Tickets to the performance can be purchased on the South Baldwin Community Theatre’s website .

    Ticket prices are $20 for adults and $15 for students and children.
