    Below are the standout high school baseball and softball performances in Washington and Columbia County this past week.

    Baseball

    Nolan Umlandt of Sherwood allowed one hit and struck out 10 in a four-inning shutout win over Glencoe.Calvin Perkins, Nate Hubbard Sage and Lucas Stark of Hillsboro combined to go 9-for-15 with a home run, double, five RBI and three runs-scored in a win over Putnam.Skylar Bjornstrom of St. Helens allowed just two hits while striking out 13 in seven shutout innings, along with going 1-for-3 with a home run in a win over Astoria.Jacob Bozich of Gaston allowed two earned runs while striking out eight and walking none in 6.2 innings in a win over Portland Christian, while going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs-scored in the second game of a doubleheader.Mickey McKlaskey of Jesuit allowed a single hit while striking out five in a complete game shutout of Mountainside.Trenton Hertzog of Tigard allowed just four hits while striking out 14 in seven innings in a win over Oregon City.Chase Austin of Beaverton allowed five hits while striking out 11 in 6.2 shutout innings in a win over Southridge.Zane Garvey of Southridge went 2-for-4 with an RBI and run-scored, while allowing one run on two hits while striking out eight in a win over Beaverton.

    Softball

    Nalana Warfield of Aloha went 2-for-3 with a home run, double, four RBI and two runs-scored in a win over Beaverton.Sophia Bloyd of Scappoose went 3-for-4 with a double, four RBI and two runs-scored in a win over Seaside.Gaby Bauer of Valley Catholic went 6-for-7 with seven RBI and five runs-scored in a doubleheader versus Banks.Ella Dardis of Tigard went 3-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI and two runs-scored in a win over West Linn.Berkleigh Tuck, Mary Cunningham, Makena Boynay and Samantha Blachly of Jesuit combined to go 11-for-16 with six home runs, three doubles, 15 RBI and eight runs-scored in a win over Southridge.Lexi Fern of Gaston went 5-for-7 with nine RBI and six runs-scored in a doubleheader sweep of Perrydale.Sam Bradford and Sally Gerigk of Mountainside combined to go 10-for-10 with four RBI and four runs-scored in a win over Beaverton.Sophie Pappas of Sunset went 2-for-3 with five RBI, while allowing three hits in five shutout innings in a win over Southridge.
