LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– The man who died in a crash that caused the car to roll over multiple times, has been identified as 62-year-old Douglas Dalrymple from Rolland Township.

Isabella County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash Saturday near the intersection of Blanchard and Britton roads.

The investigation showed that the man had consumed a high volume of alcohol before getting upset with his family and leaving in the 1997 Ford Expedition, ICSO said.

The crash happened not far from the home, said Isabella County Sheriff Michael J. Main. The car rolled over several times, ejecting the man.

Officials say besides alcohol, speed and no seat belt were also factors in the crash.

This is still an open investigation and 6 News will continue to provide updates.
