LYONS, Ga. (WSAV) – For the first time in program history, Toombs County’s boys’ soccer team will play in the state championship after beating Fellowship Christian 3-1.

“Just a great run all together, and the community is so special to these guys and how they get behind them,” Jeremy Moore, Toombs County’s head soccer coach, said. “So, it’s a small school environment, but it’s just so special for these guys to be in that.”

“It means the world truly,” Braylen Dietrich, a senior and team captain for Toombs County, said. “It’s a great opportunity for me and the team. We’ve already made school history. We are looking to break it even more and go win ourselves a state championship on Wednesday.”
