CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that a bridge spanning Little Fishing Creek will be closed.

The bridge, located along Holy Road (T-467) in Walker Township, will be closed from Wednesday, May 8, through Friday, May 10, for core boring. The work is part of a larger project to replace the bridge.

As this is a single-lane bridge, it must be closed for the drilling to take place. While closed, traffic will follow a detour using Nittany Valley Drive (Route 64) and Pike Road (Route 445). The detour will only be in place during daylight hours, with the contractor reopening the bridge at the close of each workday.
