A tragic incident unfolded on Monday night as a 15-year-old boy, who was allegedly driving a stolen vehicle, crashed on a Long Beach freeway, resulting in his death. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the teen, whose identity has not been disclosed, was driving a 2020 Kia north on the 710 Freeway near Anaheim Street around 10:30 p.m. CHP investigators believe the teen attempted to pass a Freightliner semi-truck, possibly intending to exit the freeway. However, the Kia ended up directly in the path of the semi-truck, resulting in a collision that caused the Kia to burst into flames.
