The bulk of today's rain tracked from west to north, but a few spotty showers eventually moved through.

A warm front started to push into southern Wisconsin and there is a chance we even make it to 70 degrees in Milwaukee before sunset.

The northern surge in the warm front sets our environment up for a few thunderstorms this evening. These storms may be on the stronger side, but we're not expecting a major severe weather event.

Widespread shower action moves in later tonight. Up to a half inch of total rain is possible.

The rain is out of here for tomorrow and the forecast heading into the weekend looks pretty good. We have another small chance for rain Saturday afternoon and Saturday night. Daytime high temperatures will range from the lower 60s lakeside to the lower 70s inland.
