    Burke County man arrested on federal warrant by US Marshals Task Force

    MORGANTON, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Burke County man wanted on federal warrants was arrested April 25.

    According to the Burke County Sheriff’s Office, 39-year-old Kenneth Worley Jr. was taken into custody without incident from a U.S. Marshals Service Task Force operation involving undercover officers, agents and investigators. He was charged with a federal probation violation.

    Deputies say Worley, of Country Valley Road in the eastern part of the county, had avoided eluded for approximately two months.

    He is being held on a federal bond hold with a pending court date.
