    Temporary road closure in Mercer County

    BLUEFIELD, WV (WVNS) — A road in the downtown Bluefield area of Mercer County will be temporarily closed for stormwater work on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

    According to a post on the City of Bluefield – Local Government Facebook page, stormwater work will cause the lower part of South Mercer Street from Bluefield Avenue to Rogers Street to be temporarily closed.

    More than $1 million announced for projects in West Virginia

    The closure is estimated to end at around 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

    Those traveling in the area can still use Duhring Street and Rogers Street.
