Look up incidents of resident-on-resident violence in RI nursing homes in our database

The Providence Journal reviewed hundreds of pages of records from local police departments and the Rhode Island Department of Health in order to get a better understanding of how often resident-on-resident violence occurs in nursing homes.

Compiled in the searchable database below is three years' worth of data in a database that will allow the public to look up incidents at specific nursing homes.

Please note, this database is not an exhaustive list of all incidents that have occurred in Rhode Island hospitals, but is compiled from publicly available reports from the Rhode Island Department of Health and police reports from various departments. The Journal is in the process of obtaining a more exhaustive list of all incidents, and this database will be updated when they become available.
