    Lewis County to host rabies clinics in the month of May

    Lewis County Public Health and Countryside Veterinary Clinic are sponsoring a series of rabies clinics over this month of May across the county.

    A $10 donation per pet is suggested to offset the cost of the vaccine and clinic staffing. All dogs on a leash and cats & ferrets in a carrier or strong pillowcase or sack.

    St. Lawrence County announces free rabies vaccine clinics

    Owners are expected to provide a record of previous vaccinations. All pets must be vaccinated (minimum 12 weeks old), even if an indoor pet.

    Here’s a list of clinics in May across Lewis County.

    • May 6: Constableville Fire Hall 7-8 p.m.
    • May 8: Copenhagen Fire Hall 7-8 p.m.
    • May 13: Harrisville Fire Hall 7-8 p.m.
    • May 15: New Bremen Fire Hall 7-8 p.m.
    • May 16: Osceola Town Barn 5-6 p.m.
    • May 16: West Leyden Fire Hall 7-8 p.m.
    • May 20: Lyons Falls Fire Hall 7-8 p.m.
    • May 22: Lowville Town Barn 7-8 p.m.
