    Troopers: Over $3K of tools, items stolen from Indiana County company

    INDIANA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — State police are searching for a burglary suspect who they said stole tools and other items from a company site.

    Employees from Diversified Energy reported on Nov. 13, 2023, that the burglary happened at a gas well site on Henry Road in Young Township, according to troopers in Indiana County. An estimated $3,550 worth of items were stolen from the site.

    An investigation found that a white man wearing a ball cap, gloves and a bandana/scarf covering his face was involved. The suspect was driving a Dodge Dakota Pickup truck with a cap on the bed of the vehicle. State police noted a second person who was possibly a juvenile was also seen in the truck at the time of the incident.

    The following items were listed as stolen by state police:

    • Rigid Electric Hand Pipe Threade
    • One-inch Predator trash pump
    • Ladder
    • FS 95 STIHL Weed Eater
    • Tradesman K175 Bullet heater
    • Keys to a Honda four-wheeler

    Anyone with information on the burglary is asked to contact Indiana County State Police. Tips can be made to the Troop A, Indiana Criminal Investigation Unit by calling (724) 357-1960.
