American Red Cross teams up with Sport Clips and NASCAR to increase blood donations

OHIO COUNTY, W.Va. (WTRF) – The American Red Cross is teaming up with Sport Clips and NASCAR to make sure we have a proper supply of blood on hand as we enter May.

From now until May 31st, every blood donation will get you a coupon for a free haircut at Sport Clips.

And from now until May 19th, a donation will enter you for a chance to win a VIP racing experience to the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Races at Darlington Raceway on Labor Day Weekend for two people.

That will also get you into the Sport Clips hospitality tent, and a $1000 gift card.

“We need people to remember that there is no substitute for human blood, and that we must have it on the shelf at the time of need. It’s too late to donate at that point when there’s a need. So we need to make sure that people recognize now’s the time to give blood, take advantage of the special offers that we’ve got going on for the next few weeks.”
