CHEMUNG COUNTY, N.Y. ( WETM ) – The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office recently received a donation from the Hilliard Corporation to help the agency in its training efforts.

The donation that has been received is a new training tool, a reinforced breaching door, for members of the agency to utilize during training. This tool will come in handy specifically for the Special Services Unit, giving members the ability to practice various door-breaching techniques.

The sheriff’s office believes that this donation will help greatly with training and ultimately create better results during real-life situations for those who are involved.
