Three boats worth $500K stolen in Carteret County

BEAUFORT, N.C. (WNCT) — The Carteret County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help after three boats valued at around $500,000 were stolen Saturday in Carteret County.

Officials said two of the boats were stolen from Boats 365, located off Hwy. 24. One boat was stolen from Goose Creek Marina. The suspected vehicle involved in the thefts is a dark in color Ford F-250 with dark rims. The boats are listed below:

• 28-foot Cobia, 2024-year model, with dual 300 HP outboard motors (dark gray in color)
• 26-foot Cobia, 2024-year model, with dual 200 HP outboard motors (light gray in color)
• 24-foot Bay Rider, 2024-year model, with a single outboard motor (white/cream in color)
