We're keeping our eyes on a handful of races in Tuesday's primary.

    State attorney general

The state's top legal officer prosecutes crime and corruption.

    • The office has been a springboard to running for governor.
    • Attorney General Michelle Henry, a Democrat , isn't running.

    On the ballot:

    172nd House District

State Rep. Kevin Boyle, a Democrat, is facing a primary challenge from Sean Dougherty .

Meanwhile, Republicans Aizaz Gill and Patrick Gushue are running for the GOP ticket.

What's at stake: The future of the state House seat that includes part of both Northeast Philly and Montgomery County could determine which party controls the chamber next year.

    10th House District

State Rep. Amen Brown , a Democrat, is facing a primary challenge from Sajda Blackwell and Cass Green for the West Philly seat.

    • No Republican candidate filed to run.

Flashback: Brown defeated both Blackwell and Green in the 2022 primary.

Zoom in: Brown, who ran a failed campaign for mayor last year, has backed charter school expansion and mandatory minimum sentences for gun-related crimes.
