BECKELY, WV (WVNS) — If you like cool cars, fair foods, and giving back to the community, the 19th annual Friends of Charity Auto Fair is the place you will want to be this summer. The dates for events and the concert announcement was made on Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Raleigh County Memorial Airport.

The cruise-in will be on May 18th, 2024, and for the first time ever, there will be a Southern West Virginia scavenger hunt throughout Raleigh, Fayette, and Summers Counties to accompany it.

Services for all West Virginia DMVs are back online

The Friends of Charity Auto Fair will be held July 12 and 13 at the Raleigh County Memorial Airport. You can expect carnival rides, face painting, a petting zoo, carnival foods, of course unique cars, and much more.

The Director of PR for the event, Jeri Knowleton, said the artist this year is a West Virginia favorite. Phil Dirt and the Dozers will headline the mainstage.

“So we’re very excited to announce this year’s mainstage even which is Phil Dirt and the Dozers, and of course this is a wildly popular favorite among Southern West Virginia. Everybody loves Phil Dirt and the Dozers so we’re very excited to bring that to the mainstage,” said Knowleton.

All proceeds from the fair go towards Hospice of Southern West Virginia and Brian’s Safehouse to help the charities continue to serve the local communities.
