Mingo County man arrested for Attempted Murder

WILLIAMSON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Mingo County man has been taken into custody in relation to multiple charges.

According to the Mingo County Sheriff’s Office, on Thursday, April 18, 2024, deputies with the department, including Sergeant Mines, Corporal Thomas, and Deputy Sipple facilitated the arrest of James Hash.

Hash faces charges in relation to property destruction, firearms, and most notably, attempted murder.

Following Hash’s arrest on Thursday, the suspect was charged by Mingo County Deputies with the following: Attempted Murder, Destruction of Property (two counts), Prohibited Person with a Firearm (two counts), and Brandishing a Firearm (two counts).
