Man accused of soliciting child by computer in North Carolina

(WGHP) — A man accused of soliciting a child by using a computer was arrested this week, according to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.

On Tuesday, members of the Invictus Task Force with the help of the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office and Mount Airy Police Department, concluded an investigation into an act of solicitation by computer.

As a result of the investigation, 55-year-old Bradley Mark Bedsaul was arrested and charged with one count of felony solicitation of a child by computer.

He was taken to the Surry County Detention Center where the magistrate issued a $5,000 secured bond.

The investigation is ongoing.

The nvictus Task Force is a joint effort of Randolph, Alamance, Davidson and Forsyth Counties, the State Bureau of Investigation and Homeland Security
