A middle-aged Ohio Chick-fil-A franchise owner drove through several states to allegedly commit statutory rape of a 15-year-old whose parents came home and caught him in the act.

Stacy Lee Austin, 49, was arrested and charged with statutory sex offense Tuesday for the illicit relations he had with the teen in her North Carolina home, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were initially called by a homeowner to a reported break-in in progress, WBNS reported — but the crime turned out to be much more disturbing.

When the investigators arrived, one of the homeowners told them he found a man inside their house with their 15-year-old child.

He had developed an online relationship with the 15-year-old after messaging via social media and had driven from Ohio to North Carolina to meet up, deputies said.

After allegedly confessing, Austin told officers that he was concerned about losing his job as the owner of a Chick-fil-A franchise.

He is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center without bond, according to jail records.
