Kevin Spacey, 64, Reportedly Rushed to the Hospital

Kevin Spacey was reportedly rushed to a medical center in Uzbekistan after he began exhibiting symptoms of a heart attack.

The House of Cards alum was touring the Afrasiyab Museum on Monday, Oct. 2, when his left arm went numb, according to The Sun , leading him to seek help at a clinic in the city of Samarkand, where he underwent several tests, including an MRI.

Spacey was in town for the 15th Tashkent International Film Festival, according to the publication, where he appeared on stage later the same day after receiving the all-clear from medical professionals.

He's said to have shared the incident with the crowd, assuring them his health was "normal." Still, he said, "It made me really take a moment and think about how fragile life is - for all of us."

"I suddenly felt my entire left arm go numb for about eight seconds," he explained. "I shook it off, but I immediately told the people I was with and we went immediately to the [...] medical center."

He continued, "Everything turned out to be completely normal, and I'm grateful it's not anything more serious."

The day before, he reportedly claimed to be preparing for his big "comeback" during an event in the capital of Tashkent, stating that his "best roles were ahead of him." The actor lost a number of prominent roles during his sexual assault trial , where he was found not guilty on all nine counts.

Parade has reached out to the Oscar winner's representatives but did not hear back by the time of publishing.
