BELMAR, NJ — For those seeking to enjoy a beautiful cocktail along with an equally beautiful view, look no further, because Beach Haus Brewery’s Rooftop Bar is officially open for business. On Friday, June 30, the rooftop was jam-packed with patrons as Beach Haus celebrated its official ribbon-cutting ceremony for its newest addition. Assisting in the ribbon-cutting ceremony was Belmar’s council.
“Beach Haus Brewery is not new to Belmar, they’ve been here for eight years, but they have turned their rooftop into a real destination,” said Councilwoman Maria Rondinaro. “So please, come on down, enjoy, have a beautiful drink. We have excellent sunsets, the best sunsets that there are, overlooking the Shark River. We’re so happy our Belmar council is here to congratulate you on this wonderful place.”
Rooftop visitors can expect an “impressive” 30-seat wraparound bar, decorated with soft seating sections, firepits, televisions, a selfie wall, and more.
“It’s our eighth year, and we had an incredible vision. Eight or nine years ago we bought the building and said ‘We’re going to do something very substantial, very unique to Belmar on the rooftop,’” said co-owner Joel Brudner. “This is something unique to Belmar, and unique to the region, and we’re excited. We’re providing three or four different options when you come to Beach Haus now, and we hope you all enjoy it.”
According to Beach Haus, the Rooftop offers seasonal cocktails such as ‘Aloe Goodbye’ with Handcrafted Tito’s Vodka, Chareau Aloe Liquor, Kiwi Puree, Coconut, and Lime, the ‘Southern Bellemar’ with Bulleit Bourbon, Combier Peach, Iced Tea, and Lemon Juice, and a ‘Summer Water Rosé’ bucket. In addition to the delicious delights offered by the brewery’s Taproom and 801 Craft Kitchen just downstairs, the Rooftop has a plethora of wines to choose from, including Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc and Katherine Goldschmidt Cabernet.
“By bringing in a professional mixologist we were able to match our specialty cocktails to the vibe,” said co-owner and Director of Operations Dylan Kohan. “Summery tropical libations was the target and we are excited to be able to show off what we feel is the perfect pairing. Come enjoy a drink along with one of our tapas boards while taking in the best sunset that Belmar has to offer.”

“Our vision for The Rooftop was to offer a completely different venue not only for Beach Haus but for the town of Belmar,” Kohan added. “Bringing in tropical lounge elements from the soft seating to palm trees helps set the mood. Just hanging out on our rooftop will make you feel like you are on vacation, local or tourist alike.”
