I lived in Bay Colony for 10 years and most of this video is pictures from my neighborhood during the devastating floods of Hurricane Harvey.

The other pictures are from working at the Distribution Center where we helped thousands of people with emergency food, clothing, baby needs, pet needs, and hurricane clean-up supplies.

I will work diligently to make sure that drainage issues are identified and addressed so we never have to live through something like this again.

I will not Forget the West Side!

The growth of the West is going to be significant.

The current council has done a good job in supporting codes and mandates for new construction that includes flood mitigation with special consideration of the surrounding existing homes or structures.

I would like to see some new creative, useable flood control techniques that can be enjoyed by the citizens and save their homes from disaster.

We can use the blank canvas of our hundreds of acres of parkland on the west side and make our flood control beautiful with parks, unique water features for citizens to enjoy, and wildlife to flourish.
