Navajo woman treks nearly 2,500 miles to raise awareness of Missing & Murdered Indigenous People

MIAMI, Okla. – In her quest to raise awareness of murdered and missing Indigenous women, Seraphine Warren left her Aunts house in Sweetwater, Arizona to trek across the country to Washington, D.C.

Warren says she is walking on behalf of her Aunt, Ella Mae Begay. Warren further states Begay has been missing since June 15, 2021.

The City of Miami’s City Manager Bo Reese joined warren to speak with her about her mission.

Miami Police Officers also played a part by providing Warren a personal escort through the town.
