Authorities in Virginia say a mother dropped her baby from a Richmond third-floor window and is behind bars.

The woman, later identified as Mychae Goode, 27 years old, had thrown her daughter from a third-story window.

The neighbor who declined to be named said he could tell Goode was upset when she let go of her baby. As soon as she let go, he caught the child's head before it hit the ground. The child was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Virginia Daycare Workers Arrested for Drugging Children

Goode was charged with felony child endangerment and taken away in handcuffs.

Neighbors at the apartment complex say they were in shock and cannot believe this happened.

Back in 2019, Goode was charged with child endangerment in relation to an incident that killed her 5-year-old son.

The case is scheduled to be heard in court on June 1.
