Agents with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) arrested Melvin Lemacks, 56, and his sons Louis, 25, Zakery, 19, and Ellison, 17, for 5 counts each of Attempted Murder and 1 count each of Possession of a Firearm during Commission of a Violent Crime.

The defendant and his co-defendants stopped the victim's vehicle on Logan Farm Road near the defendant's driveway entrance and hit it with a baseball bat.

As the defendant and his co-defendants fired at the victim's vehicle on Logan Farm Road, the vehicle was struck numerous times, rendering it disabled. Five people were inside the vehicle.

After fleeing their vehicle, the victims were stopped a short distance away by police who treated them for a variety of gunshot wounds. Fortunately, none of the victims died from their injuries.

In their statements, the defendant and co-defendants admitted that they fired at the victim's car.
