Concord shooting victim identified by police

(CONCORD, Calif.) The Contra Costa County coroner’s office identified the man killed during a shooting Tuesday night in Concord that left two others injured.

The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Saul Zuniga of Concord.

The shooting was reported at 9:56 p.m. in the 1500 block of Pine Street. Officers responding to the call discovered the three shooting victims.

Zuniga was pronounced dead at the scene while the other two victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their conditions have not been released.
