Sheriff Grady Judd provided an update to the public today through a live video on Facebook concerning a fatal shooting on Fleming Ave. According to the sheriff, the incident occurred around 10 a.m. Police were dispatched after reports of multiple gunshots and a man down.

When officers arrived, they discovered 32-year-old Alfredo "Freddy" Alfaro-Astello dead from his wounds in the front yard of a residence.

Witness accounts helped detectives piece together the events, identifying 38-year-old Clinton "CJ" Robinson Jr. as the suspect.

Robinson allegedly approached the property’s fence, fired several shots, and walked away, leaving Astello on the ground. Witnesses also recalled hearing Robinson say, "How do you like me now?"

Authorities confirmed that the two men had an argument earlier that day, though the details of the dispute remain under investigation.

According to the Polk County Sheriff's press release, the two men are neighbors, and witnesses said that there have been prior arguments between the two.

Robinson Jr. is in custody and has been charged with: 1st Degree Murder (FC-no bond), Tampering with Evidence (F3-no bond), False Report to LEO in Capital Offense Investigation (F3-no bond), Possession of Fentanyl (F3-$5,000 bond), Possession of Marijuana (M1-$1,000 bond), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia(M1-$1,000 bond). He remains in the Polk County Jail.
