Benny recently came to the Scituate Animal Shelter of Massachusetts for unspecified reasons. It is known that he was previously an owned pup, but the reason for him ending up in rescue care was not given. Whatever the reason, Benny is now in the market for a new home and family. Benny is a male Shih Poo mix pup who is estimated to be around 3 years old. This pup is on the small side, but his approximate weight was not provided in his Petfinder profile. He has a curly coat length which is white and cream in color. Benny is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He is also working on his housebreaking skills and is doing well!

According to the Scituate Animal Shelter, Benny is an outgoing and active pup who is happiest when he is on a run or walk. He is enjoyable to be around and gets along well with humans and other dogs. However, due to a past history of possible resource guarding, the Scituate Animal Shelter recommends he go to a home with no other pets or children. The shelter went on to say they did not actually witness this behavior at the shelter, but they respect his previous behavior and want to set him up for success.
