Pizza delivery woman threatened with a gun at a Lincoln hotel Friday morning

    2021-07-30

(LINCOLN, Neb.) Officers with the Lincoln Police Department were assisted by a SWAT team early Friday morning after a man threatened the person delivering his pizza with a gun, 10/11Now.

Authorities were called to Boss's Pizza off of 11th Street and Saunders Avenue shortly after 2 a.m. after a worker was reportedly assaulted and threatened while delivering pizza.

The female employee told LPD officers that she was delivering a pizza to the Econo Lodge on Cornhusker Highway.

Upon making the delivery, she told police that the two men inside the room threatened her with a gun because she did not have the correct change.

LPD called in the SWAT team to contact the suspects at Econo Lodge, a move they say made the situation safer for all parties involved.

Authorities found four individuals in the hotel room and took each of them in for questioning without incident.

LPD said the investigation is ongoing but no weapons were found in the hotel room and no arrests have been made as of noon on Friday.
