Little Chihuahua Who Lost Her Owner Now Headed North And Looking For Love

    2024-08-26

(MA) Get ready to meet an adorable little pup who is ready to start the next chapter of her life. Lovie Island is a Chihuahua and Rat Terrier mix pup who has spent most of her life in a loving home. Sadly, Lovie and her pup siblings were left without a home when their human mom passed away.

Lovie ended up in Great Dog Rescue New England's care and was put into foster care. Now, she's heading to New England to live without a different foster family while she continues her wait. With so many home changes in such a short time, Lovie is very hopeful the next move will be her last. Could it be to your house?

    More Information On Lovie Island

Lovie is an 8-year-old Rat Terrier and Chihuahua mix pup who weighs, as of 8/21/24, approximately 12 pounds. She has a short coat length, which is a tricolor of white, brown, and black. Lovie is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. She is also house-trained.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Lovie is a sweet and very friendly pup who is "so easy to love". Even after facing such tragedy and a complete change in lifestyle, Lovie has not lost her joy and loving demeanor. Though she can be a bit shy at first, she is quick to warm up to people. Once she has, she is fast to become a shadow and best friend to her favorite humans. She also does very well with other dogs and plays very well with them.

I would love her if she comes my way. I have a large house and fenced in yard.
