Frederick County Sheriff's Office Makes Arrest In Connection With Brunswick Murder

Earlier today Frederick County Sheriff’s Office detectives successfully served an arrest warrant for Edward Dwimoh (right photo), age 18, of Frederick, for the April 16, 2021, murder of Malakai Tyrelle Cooke, a 17-year-old male from Brunswick, Maryland. The warrant included the charge of first-degree murder.

Tyree Haynes (left photo), age 20, of Frederick, is a second suspect in this murder and is already in custody. The charges for Haynes include first and second-degree murder and firearm use in a felony/violent crime. Both suspects are currently in holding at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.

At approximately 2 a.m. on April 16, FCSO deputies responded to the Country Inn and Suites located at the 5500 block of Spectrum Drive in Frederick for a call of shots fired. Upon arrival, deputies found Cooke deceased on scene.

Through the use of video surveillance, witness accounts, and solid detective work, FCSO detectives successfully identified the two suspects and made the arrests without incident.

Of course again this is about black people committing a crime. I agree BLM should also talk more about black on black crime, but BLM stands up for white cop killing a black person and getting acquitted of the crime. That should not happen. These men are going to get a prison life sentence for killing another black man. If the police done that they probably won't get any prison time.


The one on left is the criminal. The other kid was on wrong place with the wrong person. Watch out who your kids hang out with. What’s done is done. Nothing can bring back the life of Malikai ):
