(NEW JERSEY) New Jersey is sending extra relief for emergency crews in Surfside, Florida after the building collapse, where crews are still working to remove rubble and find any occupants, according to ABC 7.

New Jersey Task Force One departed around 7 a.m. Thursday from a State Police staging facility in Wall Township. Gov. Phil Murphy appeared at the site to send the team off and wished them well on Wednesday night.

Task Force One is one of 28 search and rescue teams traveling to Surfside from all parts of the country after an order from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The group is built with 70 members with access to vehicles, boats, search dogs and has worked several years in digging and finding victims through mounds of debris.

According to ABC 7, some of the New Jersey team was active during 9/11.

The team departed to Surfside on the same day President Joe Biden is expected to make an appearance at the site with Dr. Jill Biden.

Biden is expected to speak this afternoon from the site and meet with the victims' relatives and local officials.
