(PORTLAND, Ore.) On Friday, the Oregon Department of Education announced the 2021-2022 school year’s “Ready Schools, Safe Learners” resiliency framework, FOX 12 reports.

“Ready Schools, Safe Learners” was first released by ODE in Aug. 2020 for public schools in Oregon. It was created under the direction of Gov. Kate Brown and the Oregon Health Authority.

The new framework will assist school districts in preparing their faculty and campuses for the coming academic year.

“The path is clear for students to return to full time, in-person instruction next year. Working together, we can harness this opportunity to rekindle joy and learning in the classrooms, auditoriums and playgrounds across Oregon,” ODE Director Colt Gill said. “Oregon schools are ready to once again be vibrant places for learners, staff and their families.”
