    Suspect arrested for Sunday shooting in SE Portland, faces attempted murder charges

    (PORTLAND, Ore.) After a shooting in southeast Portland on Sunday, a 22-year-old has been charged with three felony counts of attempted murder, KATU reports.

    According to Portland Police, officers were called to the 12600 block of Southeast Taggart Street around 5 a.m. on reports of gunfire. Jenaro Rodriguez was arrested as part of the investigation into the shooting.

    Police said a man was seriously injured in the shooting but is expected to survive.

    The Enhanced Community Safety Team investigated the incident and multiple people were detained at the scene, police said.

    Rodriguez faces three counts of first-degree attempted murder and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon. He was booked into the Multnomah County Jail and is being held on $760,000 bail.
