Cat in bag gets rescued moments away from getting sliced by garbage separator

    2020-12-25

Garbage sorters from Ulyanovsk, Russia rescued a cat that was a whisker away from getting sliced and diced by the automated garbage separator. The animal was discovered within a plastic trash bag (insert obligatory cat in the bag joke). According to the crew's director, the cat turned out to be well-fed, clean and well-groomed, meaning that its previous owner quite literally threw it away. The animal was not injured but was frightened upon its rescue.

This is the third time in the last two months where employees of the garbage sorting plant found animals when sorting waste. Previously, two red-eared turtles and an African hedgehog were similarly rescued.

this is very common.. esp today where any cat living in the wild is deemed a nuisance and the DNR recommends killing or euthanizing them.. i shoot wild ones all the time.. but a house pet thats pretty terrible.. I'm not really a cat person I don't understand why anybody would own one anyway it's the only animal that can actually cause a woman to have stillbirth knowing that they poop in a kitty litter box and then jump on the table where you and your family eat I cannot help with thinks people must need their head examined owning a cat but throwing a pet away is terrible they could have at least put it in the pound I can't be around cats at all anyways
