Man charged after 2023 fatal hit-and-run in Wayne County
WAYNE COUNTY, N.Y. — A 40-year-old man has been charged in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash in August 2023 in Sodus. A Wayne County grand jury indictment unsealed Friday charged Kyle R. Laskowski with operator leaving the scene of an incident resulting in death. The indictment stems from a late August 2023 crash on Lake Road in the town of Sodus, in which 46-year-old Joshua Clark was struck and killed.
Oswego man charged with assault in Seneca County
Seneca Falls, N.Y. — Police arrested an Oswego man early Monday who allegedly assaulted a man using metal knuckles. Police said Ryan Wile severely beat a man at the Quality Inn in Seneca Falls. Death of Cohoes native who went missing 30 years ago classified as homicide
The death of a Cohoes native who went missing from Wayne County over 30 years ago is being classified as a homicide. Judith Geurin was last seen on Feb. 20, 1991 in the town of Sodus. Her belongings were left behind in her apartment. Hunters found her remains in October 2020. And police have matched the remains to Geurin, according to WHEC-TV in Rochester.
Geneva man convicted for attempting to hire hitman
