Fans roast Hugh Jackman’s apartment after noticing ‘sad’ detail in Met Gala pic: ‘What’s in the bowl?’

Hugh Jackman fans spotted some “sad” details in the star’s snap he posted to Instagram ahead of the Met Gala.

Since 2004, Jackman had attended the Met Gala with his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, six times.

However, after being there together in 2022 and 2023, the actor posed alone on the red carpet this year having split earlier this year from the 68-year-old actress.

Jackman took to Instagram to share a snap of his outfit in his rumored to be bachelor pad in New York City.

In the caption, the star revealed his suit is the same one he wore to his first Met Gala back in 2004, when he was joined by his then wife.

He wrote next to a selfie on his way to the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute: “My original Tom Ford tuxedo. Refitted and repaired.”

While some fans shared their heartbreak over the star seemingly paying tribute to his ex-wife by wearing the same outfit, others were more concerned with what was behind the star in the picture.

Across the floor were a series of belongings that would usually be on a shelf, with things like books and bowls placed on the ground.

“Hugh needs to furnish his apartment. Poor guy. Looks handsome, though,” one person wrote.

“What is in the bowl on the floor?” another questioned.

It comes after some of Jackman’s close family have reportedly been rallying around the star in a bid to support him, months on from his shock split from his longtime wife.

After almost three decades of marriage, Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness announced that their marriage had come to an end late last year.

According to a source close to Jackman, the couple’s two children, Ava and Oscar, are supporting their father through his surprise break-up.

A close friend of the actor told Women’s Day: “Ava and Oscar really rallied around him and it’s made a huge impact.

“He always looks so happy when he’s with those two.”

“They know him better than he does and are constantly surprising him,” the source said.

“They’ve become closer than he could have imagined and he can confide in them, whereas before he’d turn to Deb.”
