The singleton said he was overwhelmed by calls — many of which he admitted were pranks — and dates and was eventually being recognized on the street so he stopped.
“I went on a lot of dates last year, but this system is beautiful,” Perino said.
And this time Perino isn’t just “looking for a girlfriend,” he’s “looking for the perfect woman” — a person he struggled to define aside from being young, attractive and “not a stalker.”
Perino claimed that he received about 2,000 phone calls and thousands of texts in just the first two days and has taken to wearing disguises when he leaves the house to avoid being stopped frequently.
The singleton has been too overwhelmed with responses to choose a date but plans to sit down and filter through his options soon.
“It’s something fun to do,” he told The Post.
