The Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks first-round series feature two storied franchises that don't have much love for each other. With some of the most hostile fan bases and home crowds for each of those organizations, the 76ers have taken drastic measures for their Game 6 matchup.

It's been reported that multiple Sixers owners will purchase 2,000 tickets for Philly's home game on Thursday. These tickets will be dispersed to first responders and other individuals in Philadelphia who serve the community like health care professionals.

Philly is facing an elimination game and they'll go through any wall they need in order to force an extension on the series.

The Knicks are favored as the No. 2 seed, but Philly continues to gain momentum.

76ers fans and any Philly sports fan are widely known as "die-hard" fans of their franchises.

Philadelphia's owners, coaching staff, and players are doing whatever it takes to give them life in the 2024 NBA Playoffs.
