SOUTHEAST Mo. (KFVS) - SEMO Electric Cooperative is currently working on replacing distribution and transmission poles that were damaged by severe weather. According to SEMO Electric Cooperative, a significant storm hit their service area Sunday morning, breaking more than 108 distribution poles and 30 transmission poles that need to be replaced to restore power.

ELWOOD, Ill. - The remains of an Illinois soldier killed during the Korean War will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on May 29. Army Pfc. Bryan Myers Jr., 21, a native of Cobden, Illinois, was a member of Company H, 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division.
