New Kensington man charged in high-speed turnpike chase in Somerset County
A New Kensington man was among three people arrested by state police Monday after leading them on a high-speed chase in Somerset County that at one point reached 120 mph. Pharoah Sewell, 20, of New Kensington was charged along with Davontae Clayton, 19, of Belle Vernon and Quamarry Curry of Uniontown with felony weapons violations, receiving stolen property, evidence tampering and drug possession.

Suspect in Mount Oliver drug deal shooting arrested in Plum
A Clairton man accused of shooting a person during a drug deal in Mount Oliver in April was arrested Wednesday night in Plum. Plum police arrested Dorian Randell Ingram, 29, after an anonymous woman said she saw him at a residence in the 100 block of Unity Center Road. The woman knew from news reports that Ingram was wanted in relation to the shooting, borough police said in court records.
Motorcycle driver dies in crash near UPMC Mercy
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A motorcycle driver has died following a late-night crash near UPMC Mercy Hospital last night along the Boulevard of the Allies. Pittsburgh Police say that the crash involved the motorcycle and another vehicle.Medics at the scene performed CPR on the motorcycle, but the man, later identified as 33-year-old Donte Hairston, died at the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle refused medical attention.A second vehicle was also hit during the crash but no one was hurt.The Collision Investigation Unit is handling the investigation into the crash.
