Man's body recovered from Ohio River in Mason County
MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — Mason County emergency personnel report a man's body was recovered from the Ohio River Sunday morning. Crews have been searching the river near Point Pleasant for several days after a swimmer had been reported missing Tuesday morning, but a positive identification has not been made.

Man charged after allegedly attempting to meet up with minor
MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A man has been charged after the Mason County Sheriff’s Office said he attempted to meet up with a minor to engage in sexual activity. The Mason County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday Michael Salmons was arrested in the Ashton area and faces a charge of traveling to enagge a minor in prohibited sexual activity.
