    Southeast Ohio Recycling Terminal Council of Governments will hold a founding meeting at 2 p.m. Thursday at 15 S. Court St., Athens, in the Commissioners’ Conference Room, on the second floor. Purpose of meeting is to found a council of governments for recycling, compost, and waste services. The public is welcome. Contact 740-541-1327 for copies of the agreement.The Nelsonville Dog Park Board will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday in City Hall, 211 Lake Hope Drive, Nelsonville. The agenda includes grants and fundraising, local partnerships, dog park design, and dog park rules. The purpose of this meeting is to appoint one village representative and two alternates to serve on the District 18 Public Works Integrating Committee. The purpose of this General Assembly meeting is to present for consideration a revised budget, new personnel positions, community grants, and other related matters.
